Beachside Quilter
This is my friend's quilt she made for her husband's hunting cabin. All homespuns from her stash, and she quilted it on her new Millie using my Egyptian Eye boards. She loaded the quilt sideways so the pattern is vertical and makes it look like tree bark. She pieced the backing to resemble mountains and log cabin. I like the back better than the front! She's thrilled to have this finished in time to gift her husband on Father's Day! First quilt on her Millie and first time using Circle Lord boards. I think she is hooked!! https://flic.kr/p/nYmikw https://flic.kr/p/nFXLrG https://flic.kr/p/nYs8RF

Luz2Quilt
Vickie - you are right! It was a Blast! I really loved working with the CL boards; especially Egyptian Eye, it is a great board for newbies like me...made me look like a pro! Thank you Vickie for your patience and great instructions. My husband says it is too nice to take to hunting cabin. When I came home from work tonight (he's retired), he had made our bed with it.
