chickenscratch
Has anybody tried this thread? It is on sale for $11.99 at sewingmachinesplus.com and I have a $10 birthday credit to use.
ffq-lar
It works great and is very thin. Choose a blending color for more versatility. I thought I might need a smaller needle when I first used it, but everything worked fine.
Neher-in-law5
I have used it with my DSM and George. Even with some hand stitching. Go for it. It comes in nice colors that are almost transparent so blends in well.
Busy Quilting
I use it often. Change the thread path in the three hole guide above the tension dial to down first hole up and over to tension in last hole and am set to quilt after using Glide, no other major tension changes, still using #4.0 needle. Colour #179 works across many colours they won't ship to Australia as that is a good price.

Michelle Baker
I Love it! It's thin like silk, you mostly see the texture, not the stitches. I did loosen the tension somewhat and slightly smaller needle.
