We had made a wrong turn somewhere, and were coming down a lovely hill. Joe was in front, but standing in front of this sign saying "Nothing to see here. Just keep riding." Sadly, it was Monday, and the shop was closed, but the lovely owner of Canby Quilts in Canby, OR came out to get her mail right then. Probably also to see why these 3 strange people were hanging outside her house and shop. She started a conversation, offered us water. On a hot day, a long way from the next stop, this was MUCH appreciated.
