Grammie Posted May 6, 2007 Report Share Posted May 6, 2007 I know the throat size of the liberty(20x8) but one of you who use the liberty what is your actually Sewing space without bumping your take up rollers from top to bottom? I wrote that with a 26"head you would have about 18" sewing space, and with a 20" head you would have about 13" sewing space. I am pretty sure my note was referring to a Millie and a Liberty, but I didn't actually write that down. Hopefully someone with a Liberty will schime in here with something more concrete. mrsbishwit Posted May 6, 2007 Report Share Posted May 6, 2007 With the Liberty you are suppose to be able to stitch 12" but I have found depending on batting being used you can only comfortably quilt 11 1/5" without bumping into the roller.
