Dreamer
Is the advantage of the giant templates the overall speed in completing a project or are there other advantages? The reason I ask is that I do not run a business with my Millie at this time. It is for my personal use but I like the perfection that they seem to bring. I am having trouble justifying the expense of the giant templates for my own quilts. Not sure how many users use the giant templates for personal quilts only? Just curious. Enjoy reading the chat forum! So informative!
catsigler
I almost wish I had held off getting the giant templates. It's so easy to do and looks so good, I'm using them as a crutch and avoiding everything else. I must stop this...right after I finish Grandma's scrap quilt. BethDurand
I don't know if there is an advantage or not to the templates. They certainly do make your quilting practically perfect, and they are so fast, and so easy to use. At the moment I only have the baptist fan and giant clamshells, but both have been well used on both my own quilts, and those for customers. Personally, I haven't tried to do either of these designs freehand, but they sure do a great job with the CL. Beth
