Shirwalt
Hello,. I am a new George owner and would like to use some rulers to use as guides. Any suggestions on the rulers that are great for quilting? Thank you.
Cagey
Tyler Loy Enterprises http://terylloy.com/1-4-template-3x6-ruler/ http://terylloy.com/1-4-template-right-angle-square-9/ a few circle templets by her also. I use these more for marking feather stems and other lines to freehand quilt. https://www.thegadgetgirls.com/longarm-tools/circles-evens-6-pc-longarm-set-detail.html I also have Nested Leaves by Gadgets by Carol, but the link on the rulers is no longer valid. Shorter rulers that cover the area that fits your hand/quilt area seem to work better. Putting rubber cabinet door bumpers on the bottom of the rulers also help them grip the quilt sandwich. Best of luck finding what works best for you.
brendasr8
My favorite ruler for George is the Line Tamer. It's used for creating straight lines and I use it a lot. The link below includes access to a short video that Patsy Thompson made about using this ruler. https://www.fourpawsquilting.com/pages/template.html Have fun with your George! He's awesome!
