susieq
I recently purchased a used Circle Lord for my Millennium (lucky me!). The set-up instructions state to put the machine on the wooden blocks for the correct height adjustment. I did not receive the wooden blocks. If anyone can tell me what size the wooden blocks are so I can properly raise the height, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
circlelord
Hi, You don't need the wooden blocks. They are sent as a convenience. They are 1" by 3/4" wood strips. You have to add 3/8" inch in spacers (1/4 inch washers) with longer 1/4" 28 inch bolts. Get the same bolt thread as on the machine, but 1/2" longer. The blocks are to help hold the machine off the table as you change bolts. Hope this helps. Cheers from MQS 2007 Kansas Michael
Georgene
Michael, So before I install my CL I need to go buy some more bolts? Four?
circlelord
Georgene, You got all the parts needed with your new CL. Suse, got a used CL. I don't know what she got from the previous owner. Cheers, Michael
Georgene
Great. I have received a new hydro lift to replace the one that was damaged in shipment. I wanted to wait until I uninstall the old one and reinstall the new one before adding the CL. I can hardly wait though. I'm really anxious to try it. I have some quilts waiting for those large templates.
