Wendy-ON
While moving my machine today, the bulb fell out of the machine and broke. Does anyone know if this is a bulb that has to be special ordered from APQS or should I be able to find a replacement locally? Wendy
Kelly
I was told that you could use an aquarium bulb for the black lights when using UV chalk. If you can do that I would think that you could use a regular bulb as long as it was watt compatible. Goodluck!! Kelly
Sandra Thomas
I buy my replacement bulbs and blacklight bulbs at Walmart but I am sure you could find them at a hardware store or office supply store as well.
Wendy-ON
Thankyou so much for your replies, I did find the replacement. I'm almost all set up now Wendy
Dragonflyquilts
Wendy, I have had the same problem, that is with the light bulb falling out. If you twist it slightly to the rear/panto side of the machine, it should stay in place. Be careful when you do it, you can strech/break the pieces that hold it in when you do that. If that does not work, call Connie or Mark, they will be happy to help you. Blessings and hugs Tracey
teresa1957
Tracey, Funny you mention the breakage problem, my plastic piece on one side of the light broke and a piece fell off. The bulb still stays in, but I wonder if you can get just the replacement for one side of the bulb socket?
