quiltingnanny
Well, I finally had a chance to play with some of my CL goodies ! I think I've mastered the zig zag and lips, now on to my other templates. I worked with the Featherz tonight, and LOVE it! :D Now if I could SID around this cheater panel of the wedding ring pattern. Did I say I love the Featherz ? Glenda

Guest Linda S
Isn't the Featherz template great? I can't think of an easier way to make a perfect feathered wreath. I did a Tennessee Waltz for a customer with it, and she won a blue ribbon at the fair! Linda
quiltingnanny
Yes, the Featherz are great ! Now why did I load a 108 inch long quilt to practice on ? I don't think I'll ever find the end ! My biggest problem is the SID. Any tips on curved lines ? They are all over the map. I know, PPP. That said, I asked my DH if he wanted to quilt a while, and he jumped in with both feet ! LOL After he did a row, he says ' this is really time consuming and killing my back" After letting him whine awhile'[ like a good spouse] I asked what was he fixing for dinner. Why does it sound ok coming from them rather than us ? Immediately he said pizza ! Works for me. So, tomorrow I'll get back on it and maybe I can post pics. quiltingnanny
Linda, I forgot to tell you that you inspired me on that Tennesse Waltz quilt ! It was beautiful, I got the book to make one for myself. Glenda
Grace
What book has the Tennesee Waltz in it? I, too, liked the quilt and the quilting Linda did on it. Thanks.
mrsbishwit
Eleanor Burns "Quilt in a Day" has a book that teaches the Tennesee Waltz quilt.
dancingstitcher
Isn't that pattern a combination of 54/40 or Fight with the Snowball? Love that combination. Good luck with the stitching. Can't wait to see some photos. Vicki
quiltingnanny
I posted this in the wrong place ! Here's a picture of my featherz practice piece. I cut it into 2 lap quits when I finished. They are going to the cancer center for chemo patients. I've been told the room is very cold.
