I believe the Freedom is the same body, but no stitch regulator, and minus a few other things. I'm not totally sure, so don't know if I helped at all. I have an Ultimate 1 right now which is the same size as the Millie, but doesn't have some of the features of the Millie. I'm thinking that the Freedom replaced the Ultimate 1's. pigletaz Posted September 1, 2007 Report Share Posted September 1, 2007 The new Freedom SR with the stitich regulator has alot of features, but it lacks some of the bells and whistles. If you look at the APQS home page you can compare all the models side by side. The Freedom SR has the same throat space as the Millie, but does not have some of the features like the bottom thread cutter. Since it is a more basic machine it costs a little less.
