yeoldeforest
I am quilting an Irish Chain for a customer. I'm not charging custom prices and I'm not charging a "panto" price but something in between. I need an idea or two! The customer wanted a celtic knot block which I got from Deb G's site but I really think the block needs something else. A vine or cable or something...I just don't what the something is...and not sure how or where to place the "something" Any ideas to enhance the celtic knot? The other blocks just have a simple "propeller" design and I think I'm ok with that. HELP!!! so I can end my obsession!
ramona-quilter
I agree that it looks a bit bare. But the motif is so simple and elegant, I don't think it should be cluttered with a lot. Maybe a double circle around it. Just enough to nail down the corners. And SID around the outer edge of the gold parts.
