chickenscratch
This is the other quilt the customer wants me to do. It is really pretty. The picture doesn't show off the colors very well. Anyway, I was thinking baptist fan, but I'm not sure since the pinwheels are supposed to be spinning all in the same direction. Again, I'm open to suggestions.
TishMarshall
If you have a template for the baptist fan, that would look really nice on this. I am currently doing a huge log cabin......decided on feathers....I wish I would have done the fan instead. So much rolling back and forth. And procrastination!!! I've gotten only 2 rows done at this point and the quilt's been on the machine for about 5 days now.... I've taught a class at my son's school, gone to PIQF, paid bills, gone shopping and now today (Sunday) I'm going back to PIQF. So I guess tomorrow I will be starting work once again on the quilt. Quilting Heidi
Theresa, This is what I'd do on this. You can make the feather as big or little as you want, this just gives you an idea. It would make the pinwheel design spin. Heidi Logcabin pinwheel.bmp
dtreusch
My first impression is feathered pinwheels. Like what pinwheels like Heidi suggested. Debbi

quiltmonkey
Teresa, my initial thought was similar to Debbi -- do some sort of feather or another motif of quilting that makes those pinwheels look like they are swirling and moving in the wind Have fun ...I am sure you will do a beautiful job.
