Catherine50
Hi all, I'm up in London, Ontario Canada and am watching the fires in California with horror. Are there any organisations that will be accepting quilts for those that have been burned out of there homes? Can someone who knows anything about this please post and address, or contact source. The marvel of the internet, that we can participate in the lives of people we've never met. I don't post often, but read the posts daily and feel like I know some of you quite well. May God's blessings and comfort rest on all affected. Cathy
SandraC
Hey, Cathy! Just spent a couple of day in London for the first time...what a nice place it seems...only regret not being able to see some quilt shops. I\'m not really that far from you! Catherine50
Hi Sandra, it is a nice little city, I think. I really love the fact that there is no development along the river, just parks and walking trails and bike paths. Like being in the country in the city. It\'s a little deprived in the quilt shop area though- only one quilt store, and a large Len\'s Mills. Where is Hagersville? Cathy
DB
Cathy, I think that would be a wonderful idea! Anyone on this site near the affected areas that would be able to look into this? DB
