I am open to suggestoins on quilting, thought about "rope" on red sashing, but not sure on other parts. Thought about meander in body as I don't think he will really care. I think a basic meander with a few stars thrown in would look nice. I like your idea of a rope. An all over leaf pattern may look nice in the center as well. Quilting Heidi Posted February 1, 2008 Report Share Posted February 1, 2008 Marjoric, I think I would do something to excentuate those window panes...it looks like you did a really nice job on your miters! Maybe just 1/4" straight lines for that. I would do just meander the deer print. You could echo the deer but that might be tedious. I agree that the rope border is very masculine and would compliment the quilt. The other obtion is a large cable. I would do a line dance something on the flying geese. Post when you\'re done.
