quiltermidwife
Bit of a newbie question here...........When you tie off, do you make a knot an inch or so from the quilt, then bury in the sandwich? Secondly what do you do when the bobbin runs out of thread? In this situation one has no tail to bury. I think I am going to invest in one of those Soft Touch crochet hooks. judysmith
Hi Chris If you go to Sharon Schamber\'s website there is a free area where you can download videos - one is on tying off specifically. You can sign up for various online memberships - I would have done that, but broadband internet coverage is so slow in Australia that it takes forever to download anything. I was so impressed with her that I bought a number of her DVDs from a local supplier and haven\'t regretted spending the money. I hope that you\'re having as much fun with your Lenni as I am. As everyone says, the wait was long but it was worth it. Where abouts are you from in the UK? My husband\'s family is from there and I\'ve spent many happy holidays there. Bonnie
When I tie off I use a long needle and run it between the sandwich...darker threads I try to make sure they are deep enough that they don\'t show.
