dtreusch
Yes Donna, that would be Heidi, not me. I would love to have time for piecing and doing things like the Hoffman Challenge, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. Maybe next year, as I put in a reservation for QuiltStudio over the weekend.:cool:
Quilting Heidi
Originally posted by Sams Mom OK, I meant what I said about Debbi's talent but apparently Heidi is the Hoffman Challenge queen. When you posted Heidi, I though I want you to rub off on me too. Can someone explain how you continuously quilt the basket weave. I'm not sure I'm talented enough to do that. I like all these ideas. Shana, the pictures are helpful. Donna Donna - You made my day! LOL too funny. Yes I did the basket weave on my Hoffman challenge and it is very beautiful but very time consuming. I did a it in the outside border of a 36" wallhanging and it took me 9 hours! I got much better at it as I went along. I can trace off the stencil tonight and scan you directions of it if you'd like. It is done continuously with lots of back-tracking. Let me know if you want a picture.

I've been looking at Jessica's stuff a lot for inspiration... http://www.flickr.com/photos/jessicasquiltingstudio/
