barbm
For those of you in recent weeks who have had problems posting photos here on the chat, getting the dreaded "MySQL has encountered an unknown error. To find out the exact problem, please set the DEBUG flag to true in config.php." message - here's what MAY be your problem: special characters, such as quotation marks or question marks, in your file name. We ran into it on the thread at http://www.apqs.com/quiltboard/viewthread.php?tid=13125&page=1#pid132927 and seem to have worked our way around it. If you get this message, try this fix and let us know how it works!
Sandra Darlington
Hi Barb, Yes, that's been happening to me, too. Now, in English, please...How do I "set the DEBUG flag to true in config.php?" Where do I find this debug flag?
barbm
Sandra, You don't have to debug anything - just change the name of your picture file to something simple - no special characters, just letters and numbers, and try it without any spaces, too. So change "Mary's Baby Quilt.jpg" to "mary1.jpg" See if that works for you. If it works, please post it here, so we know what's working and what's not. Sandra Darlington
This is a retirement quilt for a co-worker who is leaving this Friday. Another co-worker pieced it and I quilted and bound it. This is the sentiment I wrote. Thanks Linda for your idea!
Sandra Darlington
Barb, Thanks so much for helping me post these pictures. I was getting so frustrated with that darn error message.
Sandra Darlington
By the way, Linda, I really like the quilt you posted here. What pattern is it? It looks like a great scrappy quilt design (which I love).
Sandra Darlington
Barb, It seems like not very many people had this de-bug problem, as there aren't very many responses. I'm so glad you figured out what was wrong so I can post pictures again. Sandy
quiltmonkey
Barb, thanks for the advice on the file name. Interesting! I'll keep that in mind next time... Sandy that quilt is so sweet. I sure looks like it is made and quilted with lots of love. Lucky Lisa to have you for her friend! When I retire will you make me a quilt like this one? (lol)
Sandra Darlington
Shana, Of course I will. All the ladies (and men, too) on the chat could sign a block for you. Hummm, I can already see that we could enter that into the Guiness Book of Works Records as the largest quilt ever created. LOL. Should we start now, or wait about 20 years for you to be old enough to retire? (Or, do you plan to take an early out? )
