LauraJ
I've remade this pattern from QNN but in black/red/white/yellow - the Native American Medicine Wheel colors. I finally figured out how to export from EQ6. I was going to do something "fancy" because it's a surprise for a friend. But I frogged a bunch - the quilt yelled at me that it wasn't working! Any ideas on how to quilt this? Any ideas will be appreciated.
DoryJM
How about a small picture of what shows when its loaded. Its hard to imagine the colors...at least it is for me;)
Quilting Heidi
Laura, I think you could do a lot of different things on this quilt . What kinds of fabric did you use? I see a design like a feather or meander something that fills in the light area and then cc the darker area but that depends on the fabric. You could also do a swirly meander. Another option if you want it more masculane is to do straight light work diagonally in one of the color areas and then something swirly in the other areas. Again it depends on fabrics. LauraJ
The fabric is all cotton. Nothing out of the ordinary fabric-wise. I used Ranae's rays in the center to draw a "Dream Catcher" but it's too fussy for all the colors and fabric movement. I'll keep talking to it and I'm sure it'll speak. I like the idea of the feather or meander in the light areas. Thanks!
Busy Quilting
I initially saw all CC's in the red sections, - but If its the medicine wheel colours, can you put a large wagon wheel in the centre and the come out in spokes of the wheel, maybe infilling the spokes with filler patterns relating to tribal symbols. chickenscratch
This is what I see, but you would have to mark it before you loaded it because you wouldn't be able to see a whole section once it's loaded.
