CarolO
I have a APQS Millie with Compuquilter. I have a quilt I have been working on. I got half way through the quilt and find with the 5th row, I have developed bird's nests on the back. Also, when I changed the bobbin, I find that the tension is not working correctly for about 2 inches or so. What could be causing these two problems. I am using So Fine in both top and bottom. I have checked the threading and find it is OK. Thanks, Carol
Boni
I would rethread my machine, making sure the thread path is clean and complete. Then I would take out the bobbin and do a thorough cleaning underneath. Also, clean dust and lint off the hopper foot. Then pray all goes well. KerryM
Carol, I had that happen to me today and found that my thread was not in the tension discs properly, and there was a piece of lint in the bobbin, so like Boni said, rethread, and give everything a good cleaning! Grammie
Be sure and make sure your bobbin is clean also. Sometimes lint builds up in the path and it tightens the tension and when it decides to glide out the tension is really loose. I check my bobbin for lint everytime I change it. I always find alittle something. Grammie
