Sandra
My thread cutter on my new Millennium will not operate. Even with the needle in the upmost position, when I depress the clutch and the blue button there is no noise or action. Does anyone have suggestions? I have a call into Amy and have tried searching for help on this site. This issue has not been addressed before. TIA Sandra
Hollyrw
Last time I tried mine it wouldn't work either but I've never really used it anyway.
yankiequilter
Mine has always clicked but shortly after I got my Millie it wouldn't cut. I was talking with Amy about something else and asked her about he cutter. On the plate to the left of the foot there is a rectangular piece of plexiglass with a hole about the size of a quarter. The hole is over 4 screws. The two screws with the straight slot are for adjusting the cutter. I just had to turn the screws to the right to tighten and the cutter then would work. I've had to tighten once or twice since then so maybe the vibration loosens them. As info - don't know if it will help.
Quilting Heidi
You should check to make sure it doesn't need to be cleaned out too.
Mary Beth
The thread cutter on my machine jammed, and wouldn't move. I had to call APQS and have them help me. I would say, you should just hold tight and wait for Amy to call you back.
