njquiltergirl
Hi. I am stumped! This is a baby boy quilt...possibly a drag-around or a wall hanging gift for a mom to be. The mom's aunt made it. It is nicely pieced and very cute. Rainbows #803 is perfect for it. The center print is of boys as animals playing - running, skipping, jumping, skate boarding. There are baloons, balls and cars, but cars do not really seem to fit the theme here. What motif would you use for the borders? How would you do the center? I would do custom in the center if I could think of something good. Can you please help me see what should be there?? Thanks very much! witha'K'quilting
Why not crosshatch the snowball blocks and cc the 9 patch and red corners of the snowball. I would crosshatch or piano key the outer border.
