Mercedes
Hi, I'm looking to adjust the wheels on my 2005 Millenium and I noticed that the machine head wheels have top cams on the left side but no top cams on the right side wheels (these are edgerider wheels). Is it supposed to be this way or should all the wheels have cams? The rails wheels have top cams on the front wheels but no top cams on the back wheels. Is this right? Could someone with a 2005 Millenium look at their setup and tell me if I'm missing cams on any of these wheels? Tried to adjust the cams on the front rail wheels but the cam's won't adjust to change the ride of the wheel. The top of the wheel is riding on the rail with no air between the wheel and the rail. Thanks....Mercedes
Mary Beth
Mercedes, Your wheels sound correct to me.
Katydids
That is the correct set-up. You should be able to turn the cam on the carriage front (rail wheels) so as the offset hole gets closer to the 12:00 position, this will tighten up the wheels into the rails and have it lift off the lip. As it goes closer to the 6:00 position, this will make the wheel rest more on the lip. Make sense??
Mercedes
Yes, this make sense. I'm relieved to know I have the correct setup - as a newbie I wasn't sure. I'm going to make a small adjustment as my rail wheels seem to be sluggish to me. Thanks! Mercedes
