reading all about tension

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone! I have been soaking up so much information from these posts.. I am taking in all that's said about tension and trying to figure out why I am getting loops on the back and I haven't given up yet (no where near, so many things to try) But I saw something mentioned about cleaning the bobbin area.. I am SURE I need to do this as this is a used machine I just bought and I haven't had it serviced. Is there a walkthrough somewhere I could read that would guide me through a sort of cleaning checklist for my machine..? I am thinking this would help performance.. I can't wait to start getting pretty stitches! :D
