witha'K'quilting
For those who like the Quiltazoid and do not want to do Spirographs...check out the Econozoid! From the website http://www.quiltazoid.com/econozoid Econozoid The Econozoid is the latest addition to the Quiltazoid family. It is designed for those who want to work from the front for circles, eccentrics and tracing templates. The Econozoid is the most economical way to take advantage of all the great design features of the Quiltazoid at a fraction of the price. All of the features of the Quiltazoid are available with the Econozoid, with the exception of the spiro attachment. Not affiliated, just very pleased with my Quiltazoid and want to share the newest information.
yankiequilter
That's great! It will give more people the opportunity to purchase a very useful quilting tool. And, if the Econozoid is upgradable to the Quiltazoid, that makes it even better.
witha'K'quilting
The spirograph attachment is just that...an attachment. Adam can answer questions as to the cost of purchasing it separately.
Quilting Heidi
Actually the Econozoid is a stripped down model and not directly upgradeable for the spirograph; however you should contact Adam and Linda Anderson as they will be providing a trade in if you decide to upgrade later! The econozoid was designed to be used just for tracing templates and circles. There are some folks out there that thought the spirograph wouldn't be useful on quilts (now that we've seen Kristina's quilt we know that isn't true), but I'm sure there are still some out there that will only use it for say cross hatching and circles. Just depends on your quilting style.
