Berny
I found where the fuse goes and the machine turned on but there was this loud noise. I checked to see if the broken part of the needle was still in the machine but could not see anything. You cannot get the fly wheel to budge. I quickly turned everything off. (The second light on the right hand side is on.) I hope that I didn't do anything major as I just got my machine back from having a tune-up. smorris
Hi Berny Try wiggling the thumbwheel back and forwards a little at a time, it sounds like there might be a bit of the needle stuck in the Hook assembly sue in australia
Berny
Hi Sue,I tried wiggling it back & forth but nothing seemed to budge. Yes, I would bet that the end of the needle could be stuck in the hook assembly as I looked for it on the floor but couldn't find it. Is there anything else that I can try? Thanks Berny
smorris
Hi Berny Try taking the throat plate off and looking down into the hook assembly to see if you can see the tip of the needle from there. good luck sue

Berny
Yes, I took out the bobbin. I've tried again to wiggle it but still no luck. Berny
