Guest Linda S
You read that right! MQX is adding a west coast show at the Portland Convention Center. October 11-15, 2011. Be there or be square! Linda

CWBowser
Are they still going to have it in Rhode Island in 2011 or are they switching coasts? Charlotte
Guest Linda S
There will still be an east coast show in the spring -- most likely still in April. They're just expanding to have a second show on the west coast. It will be so awesome to have a machine quilters' show with actual hands-on classes and a wonderful quilt show with real prizes. I can hardly wait (especially since it's only an hour and a half from my house!). Linda
Sandra Darlington
Wow! MQX is really growing! That is wonderful, and having a show on both coasts will be so convenient for folks.
CWBowser
I am so glad that they will still have it in Rhode Island. You are so right Linda, the hands on is so important. Also the opportunity to shop for things specifically made for the longarm machine that you wouldn't find at a regular quilt show. Thanks for the information. Guest Linda S
I haven't seen a word about Innovations for next year. Cindy usually posts the dates of the next year's show before the current show raps up. I wonder what's afoot with that? I had heard rumors a few years ago that she was looking to sell the show, but you never know -- rumors can really run wild sometimes. Bekah
wow this is just wonderful news. I have a spare room if anyone needs a place to stay, am close to the Max line and would be willing to drive to FD with a group if need be. not sure I could find EE's but would be willing to try.
