Still need tumbling block ideas, and there's a photo!

Thanks to Shana for her excellent advice on my computer issue. Here's a picture of the quilt that needs something wonderful done to it. It's hand pieced, but she doesn't like to hand quilt.

Beth I have a couple ideas, depending on the size of each block. if 2 1/2 or less, I'd put a heart in each white or yellow block. probably a vine with small leaves thru the other two colored blocks. or you could put 3 or 5 petal feathers in each block, I think though I'd change colors for each color block. I know that's a pain in the keester to change colors...

You could also treat each block of blue, white and yellow as one, and put a pretty flower in there with a variegated thread of a fairly dark thread so it will show up. ummmmm stars in the blue, hearts in the yellow and a flower or feather in each white.. that wore my brain out, it was tired to start with, so I hope someone else will give you some ideas..

You could put a design in the yellow block, like Michael suggested, such as a oval spiral. Then do a continous curve on the blue and pink blocks and you could even add a little design in the center of each cc block.

I would do a pretty feather in the yellow and vertical lines in the other two blocks.

Thanks ladies, that's kind of what I was thinking. I want to make it special for her, but also not gender specific. I've got a few other quilts to do first, so that one can sit and stew in my brain for a while. Feel free to continue to add ideas for it though.
