anita
Is anyone watching Lily the black bear? There's a live cam in her den and it is believed she is expecting any day. It's too cool! Yesterday she left the den and got some balsam to add bedding (preparing?) and right now she's doing something just outside the den. Here's the link if you're interested in watching...oooh, she just came back in! http://www.bear.org/website/visit-us/lily-den-cam.html Careful...you might get hooked! anita
Looks like she got more balsam for bedding. Anita
yankiequilter
This is cool!!!! But why isn't she sleeping? I thought bears hibernate in the winter. OOOHHHH must be labor pains How is a person supposed to get any quilting done if we're watching Lily I don't think I'll send this link to DH - he finds enough distractions to avoid getting any work done! anita
I've watched off and on for a couple of weeks and seen very little activity. She's really busy:P tonight. She's been looking right at the camera...breaking up the balsam. She must be a little shy...she's blocking the view into her den. Yep...I'm letting my basement warm up and my machine is on...wonder if I'll get down there tonigh. Anita
anita
she seems to have gone back to sleep...guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow for more. Geez...I don't have a life, do I? Anita
wnott
Well, isn't she a 'Ms Priss', covering up the camera. Who's gonna go in there and move the balsam so we can see?
IBQLTN2
Not me for sure! LOL She probably wants her privacy who could blame her. And we think animals are too smart!!
lindasewsit
They think she'll maybe have them tomorrow!
anita
Check her out now...she's very visibly moving bedding around, licking herself, repositioning herself, panting as if in labor. I'm so excited! I'm traveling and won't see it tomorrow, but no doubt it'll be available later too. Anita
