BethDurand
Ah, my wonderful friends out there in cyberspace will know the answer to this question. My customer has a quilt that she has marked in anticipation of hand quilting, but then lost interest in it about 8 years ago. She's thought of having it machine quilted, but wants to remove the lines where she has marked. She used a regular quilting pencil and several colors of chalk pencil. She tried a fabric pencil eraser, but that didn't work. Any thoughts on how she can remove these old marks? Thanks in advance.
Quilting Heidi
Try Pam Clark's Sew clean.

lindasewsit
Or try a paste made with Oxyclean. My dad's a drycleaner and he has suggested that for some of my things.
Gator
Just be sure that it doesn't get heat (dryer/iron/sun) until the lines are removed.
