saratogaquilter
There's nothing like watching Fox News to temper a person's excitement. I pray there is no one here from Austin. I was listening about the man who flew his plane into an IRS building after he set the house that his ex?-wife and daughter were living in. They made it out ok, thank God. He was very disgruntled with the IRS and I think that may be an understatement. There were just a few people injured and no fatalities as of yet. I pray for his wife and daughter and all those people in that building.
appr216
Apparently one person is still missing. Hopefully they got out of the building.

Linda G. Craig
Heard about it here in Canada on the 4 pm news, and yes, one person missing so far. So sad. Sometimes I think the world has gone crazy!
CWBowser
it is sad that crazy people have to take it out on innocent people. I heard that there is still one person missing.
appr216
2-deaths, one being Stack, and two critical. His wife is suppose to make a statement today. Her and the daughter were staying at the motel when he set fire to the house as they were afraid of him. Nephew was in the building just the day before he flew his plane into the it and apparently a portion of the building was not being used. I assume (which you should never do) that he ran his plane into an area where not too many people were working or there would have been a lot more casulties. Quilting Heidi
Judi, According to the news this morning they say he aimed it right for the floor that housed the IRS. Such a same. Innocent lives taken because he had a grudge with the tax man.
appr216
Yes, he took aim for the IRS building but apparently not too many people were in that part of the building. I have not heard the statement from the wife but reports here say she was very afraid. Sad, very sad.
