jane.hughes
My up down switch doesn't always take only one stitch. Now my right stitch control (green) doesn't always stop the machine when the button is pressed. Do I need new switches or is this normal?
nora123
the up down can be adjusted under the hood by turning the number 8 screw (refer to your manual) and the green button on the right handle increases stitches per inch. Hope I have helped a little ladies jump right in anytime to help.. Nora
srichardson
Hi Jane, You can adjust the needle up and down using the number 8 screw I think it is. If you look in your manual it will tell you where to find it. I don't have any suggestions regarding the green button. Sue

Katydids
Jane has a Lenni, so the green switch on the right handle is the motor or "go"switch. Yes, it sounds like it is taking too many stitches and that can be adjusted by the #8 screw. On the Lenni, and the newer models (08 and later) the adjustment is at the back on the right hand side. There is a little hole and you can see the gold screw inside that hole. Yes, this is normal after a "break in" period. Look in your manual for the needle up down adjustment or #8 screw adjustment. You will need to warm up the machine before adjusting the screw. If you do it to a cold machine, it will start to act "funny" again when it warms up. Hope this helps. email me if you need more help.
