sewlinzi
I think I would run up some huge bags with calico, bed sheets or something ugly... Will they stand up or hang?

Zora
Spray around the entire outside of your building with Home Defense (a bug product). It will keep them out of the building to begin with. How about putting the bats in plastic sheeting. You can get a huge roll of it at a home improvement place like Lowe's. It comes in different weights, and is about 8 feet wide. Its used in construction for a vapor barrier on the insides of walls before you put up sheetrock, in case you have to ask for it. One package of this stuff will wrap a lot of batting, and you can tie it with string to keep it in place, or tape it.
