Sylvia
Aaaaaaaah! At least I'm done! I just finished a quilt I did not love. Piecing was dodgy and seams did not meet, but the worst thing was the sashings and borders were Polyester broadcloth, and stretchy. Therefore, Puckers, Pleats and Pouches. Ah, for Patience and Persistence. The quilt still isn't great but better than when I got it. A person could refuse such a project, but that seems cruel. Guest Linda S
Good for you Sylvia - sometimes when you get those, they might be someone's first quilt. Steer them gently and they may become a great quilter. I do my best not to squish anyone's dreams. They don't all need to be show quilts.

Sylvia
Sorry, Folks! I trimmed the threads, folded it up and delivered the poor dear today. I hope the maker likes the results. I kept telling myself that the best I could do was make the quilt look better than it did when I got it. Now I have a lively softie to work on. So nice.
