Small weekend sewing project

I'm out of batting AGAIN!! lol my shipment should be here Tuesday. SO, I have been sewing. Heaven for bid my top pile get to small.

This is what I am working on

My center without the emboridery going to work on it tonight. I still have my leaves to make and I will add the borders tomorrow.

Thank you Rita, I have a friend who is having a baby girl, so I figured it would make a nice shower gift.

I did one of those and love it! It was my first applique and my first attempt at microstippling. It normally hangs in my living room, but is taking a break for the holidays.

Mine is going to be a baby quilt for a friend. She is, a little older, having her first baby. We just learned Friday that it is a girl. her and her husband are very excited.

Ah, that's so sweet, and I like the way you put it "She is, a little older, having her first baby." A cousin's baby shower I went to last week was for an older 1st timer, too!

I'm sure she will love this little baby quilt. Have fun with it and be sure to post your finished pictures, too!
