mswings
I have been trying to fiqure out why it doesn't seem to matter what I set my SPI at because it all looks the same. I finally measured and realized they ARE the same. How do you adjust that so that SPI is accurate???
Quilting Heidi
It sounds like to me that your encoder wheels are not engaged properly. Check to see if they are engaged. You may need to adjust them and that is in your manual. They probably are not tight enough.
jeri
I'm thinking encoder wheels as well. Also check to see of they are all nice and clean as well as engaging as you move your machine.
meg_marsh
I had this issue once and it was one of the circuit boards - would check the emceed wheels first and if that doesn't help, call APQS. It was cry easy to change the board.
mswings
Thanks for the advice. I had to have surgery on Tuesday and thought while I was down I would really clean out my Millie and try to get to the bottom of this. I'll check the encoder wheels and give APQS a call tomorrow if it's not that. I believe I got my Millie about the same time Meg did. Since I mainly quilt for myself I haven't had a lot of quilts to fiqure out the problem. I've never felt like my sticthes were as good as they should be. Anyway, thanks for the info.
