Catherine50
I am having a terrible problem with my top thread being pulled into large messes on the back of the quilt. It run fine when doing curves, but when doing straight lines, and slowing down, or stopping, there is this odd clicking noise, and then these piles of the top thread ending up on the back. I have a bobbin genie in place. Everything has been cleaned and oiled, but it still happens. Any solutions? I've tried attaching a picture of it. Hopefully it shows up. Quilting Heidi
Did you check you timing? Did you re-thread? It sounds like the problem I get on my domestic when it slips off the tension hook on the top.
LinneaMarie
Is that little springy thing in the bobbin case? I leave that in and put a Magic genie washer on top of it. Bummer girl! Hope you figure it out soon!!
Janette
Did you put the bobbin in the right way around. I recently made that mistake and had birds nests occasionally on the bottom. It needs to be spinning in a clockwise direction. I have loaded hundreds of bobbins now, but still put one in the wrong way.
