bonbon
I have a customer burma silk quilt to quilt. Both the top and backing is silk. Customer wants silk batting I have in stock. I'd appreciate any advice and tips for working with silk. I plan to use metro thread. Would I use a smaller needle like 3.5? Thanks!!
quiltmonkey
Well........Silk is rather fun to quilt and you will like it. Silk fabric with silk batting? Can you say Yummy? This sounds kind of fattening and sinful. .... Like I need to go on a diet now or something... I think you are on the right track. Go with the metro thread, 3.5 needle and have FFFFFUN! Show piccies, please.
