Replaced power supply board...now everything works much better...Again thank you Starla Replaced relay switch.....needle is still slamming down....just sitting still Also, when in preview mode with Intelliquilterit does the same thing... Bad thing is my machine is traveling and the needle slams down. Scares me. ..Have not torn fabric so far......Any other suggestions? However, I think mine is related to poor power quality issues - even with my machine plugged in to a UPS. I think we've been having power transients in the neighborhood. I've started keeping a log of when (time, date) the needle slams happen to see if I can eventually correlate them with the power company's records on transients.
