Stagecl Posted August 30, 2011 Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 I lost power. Had a generator...thank goodness. We lost power Saturday at 5 pm. My DD and I took showers around 4 pm, filled the tub and washed the dishes too. I live out in the countryside so when power goes so does the water and the generator is not hooked up to the well. We got power back on Monday morning, but the internet just came back on line. Life is normal:D We have had many aftershocks from the earthquake...two last night and one on Sunday night. anita Posted August 30, 2011 Report Share Posted August 30, 2011 Some of the folks still without power in eastern NC were hit with severe storms last night...some storms with tornado potential. I was scared for them, with so many that didn't have a way to get warnings. We had it bad too, but at least we knew it was coming and could get to safe places.
