anita
Comment on LED lighting...I've never noticed heat from them. Are we talking halogens? Halogens are dangerously hot, but the LED lighting I have are cooler than a regular light bulb. Anita
Donald A
My lights are about 23" above the quilt top. Keep in mind the light shades should be of the type that will not let the light blind the operator. We are using daylight compact florescent light bulbs and they give off great light and remain cool. Marsha Nichols
Thanks everyone for their input on my lighting problem. I think we will use attached to the frame overhead lighting for the Mille and also attached lighting on my cutting table areas. Mille and the cutting table will be on casters so I can move them if needed and the lighting will go wherever they are. I will have the plug receptacles in the ceiling and can use that for Mille, compressor, iron etc. Since the room will be 30X30 we will have two ceiling fans with lighting on them. Natural lighting will be two windows, two exterior doors with opening windows on the top, and patio doors entering the living room.
