Primitive1
My light keeps blinking on and off while I am sewing, has anyone else had this happen and I am thinking I need a new light bulb? Guess I'll give APQS a call on Monday...
o2b Quilting
Have you tried taking the bulb out and putting it back in to make sure it is in tight?
ffq-lar
You can get new bulbs at Home Depot. I replaced mine recently--it was blinking, and always at the exact wrong time!
DawnCavanaugh
Vicki, If a new lightbulb doesn't do the trick, there is also a "starter" just behind the front cover of your machine. It may be going bad. You can get one from us, but you can also take the old one to a hardware store to find a replacement...they are pretty common. If it still flickers after those two fixes, the next thing to do would be to check that the gold "clips" that hold the ends of your light bulb in are still putting enough pressure so that the bulb isn't loose. If they feel loose, unplug the machine, then gently pry them a little closer to each other to put more pressure on the bulb ends.
