Wannabelongarm
Very interesting design, I had to look at if for a while - I guess I would decide what you want to be dominant - I guess the black since it seems the strongest - not sure if any quilting will show on the black. You could SID the black and put something pretty in the coloured areas, I would be tempted to match my thread, do CC's a couple of feathers, etc. I am sure someone else will chime in - something curly in the sashing as the design has such strong straight lines. Looking forward to seeing what you decide. Have fun! Joanne Flamand Artistic Quilt Design
RitaR
You didn't say if you wanted simple or custom work, so my first thougt was curves.. like a spiral in the colored blocks, and in the sashing that has a scallop going one way and then the reverse to over lap them in towards the middle with straight lines making a diamond shape where the lines meet for the next scallop. Hard to explain.. color would need to be a fairly neutral color rather than using a strong one which overpowers something and does nothing for another. Feather wreaths would be pretty, also, with a smaller one inside of it.
