BethDurand Posted August 27, 2012 Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 Green machines take an older machine body, i.e. and Ult., and are completely re-made with new parts to upgrade them to current standards. Used machines have been gone over at the factory, but are still the same machine as when they left the factory the first time. Hope that helps. witha'K'quilting Posted August 27, 2012 Report Share Posted August 27, 2012 I own a green millennium and wouldn't hesitate to buy green again. My machine, however, is not upgradable. It has new parts (guts), and works great. I am pleased with my machine. I have owned it for nearly 4 years, and it works as nice as the day I bought it.
