elkayr
I'm going to order a couple of rulers Gadget Girls & their website says to order 1/4" thick ruler. I have a Millennium with a 1/2" foot. Just wondering if any of you prefer the 3/8" thick ruler instead of the 1/4".
ffq-lar
I haven't tried a thicker ruler so I can't say if it's a better choice. Does Gadget Girls offer thicker rulers? Quarter inch acrylic is an industry standard for longarming, both rulers and templates. But I guess it comes down to personal preference. That's all I've every used. whitepinesquilter
I have an older ulti I, with a scoop or spoon foot, so the 3/8" works good to keep the ruler from getting under the foot. I would think your newer machines with straight sided feet would not need the extra thickness?
