I just looked at their website and the winner is not revealed until March. So needless to say I am confused. Would someone please clarify for me please?! Maybe the post was for a finalist. She is the same gal that won a Millennium at QTQ about 4 years ago. She sold it and went back to quilting on a Gammill. She is a very talented quilter! The winner of the 2006 $100,000 Quilting Challenge and the winning quilt were introduced on the Today Show on Tuesday, January 9. (The Today Show is on the air 7 -10 a.m. on NBC) From thousands of entries and 40 finalist quilts, Linda McCuean's wholecloth quilt "Bella" has been selected grand prize winner in the 2006 $100,000 Quilting Challenge!" A complete story and photos of the winner will follow in the first issue of the 2007 $100,000 Quilting Challenge magazine, on sale March 27, 2007. Check back soon for more details. I thought Linda had won but the challenge website did not say. Did anyone see the Today show? Friends of mine tried, said they did not show it. Great for Linda. Congratulations to her!
