I removed my thread cutter and had to change my Hartley Base, so I now have this one for sale. It is about 3 years old and in perfect shape as I don't do a lot of ruler work.Asking $90 plus shipping. Katydids Posted September 30, 2012 Report Share Posted September 30, 2012 Heidi, the expanded base fits on the throat of the machine to give you a flat surface so that you can use rulers with the machine. It does not matter if your table is "blissed" or not. You may be thinking of the Hartley Fence which is the circle maker and that does fit a specific table style.
