RoseCity Quilter
I was getting a terrible rash on the under side of my forearm from the canvas on the top rail. One day in desperation I went searching for something to cover the rail. I found a length of Minki, and just tucked in under the top rail like the picture. I LOVE IT! Not only has it stopped the rash, it keeps the batting from rubbing on my clothes, and helps keep the quilt clean from me.....

Bonnie H
Ardelle, it's amazing how we as quilters can seem to make bad situations better with a little ingenuity. I love your idea! My bars are different than yours, as I have a Nolting, but one of my bars at my belly has nothing on it and it is darn cold in the winter when my arms or tummy touch it!! You have me thinking that a Minky sleeve might be the perfect thing to "warm it up." Thanks for sharing your great idea!
