Anne from Guam
I started checking out EQ7, but it looks like it could be a pain for my mac computer. Does anyone use this on their mac?
KathG
Hi Anne, I have EQ7 on my IMac . I run it in Microsoft Windows in a virtual window through the Parrallels software. It runs just like it would on a Windows computer. You could also run EQ by using Boot Camp which is built into the Mac operating system. The difference between Boot Camp and Parrallels , is with Boot Camp you would need to reboot your MaC to get back to the Mac operating system and vica versa with Windows. With Parallels the Windows and Mac operating systems run along side each other. So basically you could have a windows program and a Mac program running at the same time. With both Boot Camp and Parallels you need a copy of Windows to load onto your Mac. Hope this helps.
meg
Anne...thanks for asking. Kathy...thanks for answering. I switched to a Mac awhile back and thought my EQ7 was done. I've missed it. I'm going to try this...I think I even have parallels already!
IQuiltToo
I have an iMac and the first thing we loaded was Parrallels & Windows. Still wish they would put out a Mac version of EQ7. But, at least I can use it!
