quiltedsunflower Posted June 13, 2013 Report Share Posted June 13, 2013 Julie: I'm leaving for Texas for my nephew's graduation on the 21st and won't be back till the 25th. This is a pretty big deal for him. He lost his dad when he was 12 and never finished high school. At 19 he got his GED and then 2 years later decided to go to college. He told his Mom, my sister, that he didn't think he would go to graduation, but she insisted. His sister is flying in from CA and we are driving from NE Kansas NW Missouri. We're pretty proud of him for this accomplishment!!!! Since my sister is a quilter, too, I bet there will be a few quilt shop stops along the way. I would love to get together - at another time.
