Quilting Ideas Needed

Recommended Posts

The top is very pretty. Is the whole thing these pieced lilies?

If you want to accentuate the points of the flower petals, stitch CCs into the points. The base square could have a quarter-circle with the center of the circle on the base of the flower. Stitch from corner to corner and fill it with rays--either straight or squiggly.

If you want to soften the petals, here's a treatment of petal shapes.

On this one I echoed the curved petals with another set outside the piecing, using thread to match the background.

Your lily isn't exactly the same as this one, but you can get the idea.

wow, right off the wall for me.  I would stipple around the flowers, then in the flowers

I would continue the stem up to each of the center points with a curlique toward each

point and add a curlique to each side .

ROFL, I'm so excited because I really did see something I'd not have normally seen.
